(1) SEYCHELLES : Visa Duration — 30 days.
It is Africa’s least populated state and is perfect place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of a fast moving city life. With attractions such as the Adelaide Studio, the Bicentennial Monument in Mahe and the Curieuse Marine National Park, this Archipelago in the majestic Indian Ocean has a lot to offer in terms of art, culture and natural wonder. Their unique cuisine and popular folk music are simply delightful. The Seychelles Islands experiences a year-long warm, tropical climate and so, it’s always a good time to visit, although different times may be more suitable depending on your particular interests.
(2) MALDIVES : Visa Type : On arrival. Visa duration : 3 months.
This gorgeous island is the perfect getaway from your mundane routine. Embrace the “sunnier side of life” in Maldives by shopping in the local markets of Male, its capital, or taking in the scenic beauty of its other islands like Maafushi Nd Hulhumale. Surrounded by the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, Maldives is nothing short of a paradise. The tropical climate makes it a place to escape the dull winters and enjoy some fun in the sun during December and January.
(3) LAOS : Visa Type : On arrival. Visa duration : 30 days.
With its rich Buddhist culture and colonial architecture in Luang Prabang, it is no surprise that the tourism in Laos has grown rapidly in recent years. Small towns such as Vang Vieng with their surreal landscape of limestone Mountains and the Nam Song River running through the town are popular tourist spots. Famous for their silk and local handicrafts flock to Luang Prabang’s night market where these handicrafts are on display. Laos is also known for its uniquely flavoured “Mulberry Tea”. The best time to visit would be from November to March as the temperatures are quite pleasant during these months.
(4) MOZAMBIQUE : Visa Type : On arrival. Visa duration : 30 days.
This southeast African country, with its natural beauty and rich culture, makes it an ideal vacation spot for everyone. Attractions such as Quirimba’s National Park and the Niassa Reserve celebrate its diverse wildlife. The beautiful surroundings, friendly locals and mouth-watering cuisine only add to its charm. The May to November winter season is ideal for a trip to Mozambique because of the cooler temperatures and the least chance of rain.
(5) FIJI : Visa Type : Not Required. Visa duration : Not applicable (However, Indians are allowed a stay for 4 months)
Celebrated for its white sandy beaches, breathtakingly beautiful islands and pristine natural environment, Fiji attracts a lot of tourists, especially beach lovers. Islands in Fiji like Taveuni, the Garden Island and Kadavu let you experience true Fijian culture. It is quite a popular honeymoon destination, but there are many friendly family resorts and water sports activities which make it a great family vacation spot as well. The weather in Fiji is pretty consistent, so you can go at any time of the year.
